The Pyramids of Mexico - seen in the ancient Mayan city of Uxmal, Yucatan state, Mexico. These pyramids dating back to 500 BC were built by people of Maya culture who inhabited southern Mexico and Goutemala. While the Egyptian pyramids are well known these pyramids are equally remarkable in their architecture and sophistication.
