Ghost village –
Kollluru in Guntur district is the seat of famous diamond mines. Kohinoor, Hope diamond, Regent diamond, Daria e Noor and many others were found here. These mines functioned from 13-18th century. While the diamonds are glittering all over the World this village is now empty and abandoned because it is in the submerged zone of Pulichintala project built on Krishna River.
